Digital Media Expeditions
DIGITAL MEDIA EXPEDITIONS
The Odyssey Institute’s digital media courses provide opportunities for extensive cultural and tropical wilderness exploration and technical skill development.
In July, 2012, the Odyssey Institute will be running a digital media expedition to Seram, Indonesia. This course is an opportunity to develop technical film making skills whilst exploring some of Indonesia’s most pristine and fascinating rainforest.
Film making workshops will be facilitated daily by the Odyssey Institute’s digital media team as we journey through some of the remotest and most breathtaking landscapes in Indonesia.
Future expeditions…
Next year’s expedition will be into the Morowali Forest Reserve in Eastern Sulawesi. The region is home to the Wana people; an indigenous forest-dwelling ethnic group of hunter gatherers with whom we shall live whilst we explore the forest and their culture.
